Liquid Nitrogen Producing Facility

.

In February 2016, the services of a nitrogen liquefier machine (StirLIN-1 Economy), acquired with CAPES Pro-Equipment 2013 resources, were also made available to the researchers of the PPGQ and other graduate studies programs at UFPR.

This facility has a production capacity of 120 liters of liquid nitrogen per day, which is intended to support the operation of medium and large-sized equipment such as the NMR spectrometers and the X-Ray diffractometer, as well as the demand of research groups using liquid N2 for the preparation and manipulation of samples.
