The Postgraduate Program in Food Engineering (PPGEAL), linked to the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Technology Sector, under the management of the Dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies of the Federal University of Paraná has in its history the objective to develop teaching and research in the field of Engineering and Food Technology, contributing to the training of qualified personnel for higher education, scientific research and industry. Currently, the main objective is to train highly qualified personnel to work in the various fields of food engineering by conducting research and deepening scientific studies capable of contributing to regional and country development with international visibility.

Admission into UFPR is free of charge and open to students from abroad. To register, please send an e-mail to the program office to ask about dates for open enrollment and specific steps involved for students from outside Brazil.
